The Council of Ohio Audubon Chapters 2021 Spring Gathering, held on Saturday, April 3, was attended by 39 chapters leaders from across Ohio. Even though we once again were virtual we had another successful meeting. Our speakers provided helpful information and inspirational themes for chapters, including reports of successful programs from raising and monitoring Eastern Bluebirds to bringing on chapter volunteers. We had fun, too!
COAC thanks all of our speakers, including Jim Jablonski and Penny Brandau from the Black River Audubon Society, Izabela Grobelna of Audubon Great Lakes, Dr Lara Roketenetz of the University of Akron Field Station at Bath Nature Preserve, and Leigh Ann Miller of the Grange Insurance Audubon Center. We also thank the Gathering organizers, Mark Demyan of the Audubon Society of Greater Cleveland and Jim Jablonski. But our greatest thanks go to all those who attended! We hope that you enjoyed the conference.
